From the very beginnings the intentions of SFC is to grow to a high profile business. Through development and growth we aim to produce a business which is professional, sustainable and above all else, TRUSTWORTHY.
We believe that our opportunities lay in specialised production & processing areas rather than trying to beat the big established companies at their own game. Our main areas of interest at this stage are:
- Pasta and sauce production.
- Extruded snacks and foods made from Pulse flour.
- Pocket Breads and/or Crusty breads.
- Semolina and Couscous production for export.
We know that the best markets for our durum semolina are those where there is an appreciation for high-quality semolina, that as well as being used on it’s own will have significant product benefits when blended with lower quality semolina.
Our partnership with L’Abruzzese, a local specialist pasta producer, aims to produce ready-to-cook pasta for the high end of the market, including:
- Hotel chains
- Restaurants
